After being closed for renovations for four months, Veranda Grand Baie Hotel & Spa, 3 stars +, reopened its doors on 1st October.

The 94 rooms have been completely renovated and redecorated in a Creole style with contemporary accents. They have better natural light, plush new furniture, a flat screen TV and a beautiful bathroom, all creating a more comfortable space!

Public spaces have also been upgraded with new furnishings and stylish fittings, some with vivid colours of the Mauritian artist Vaco Baissac, and some with more edgy textiles with trendy floral designs.

As for the restaurants, guests can now enjoy the completely redesigned main restaurant, Mon Plaisir, with new light colours creating an atmosphere bathed in light. The buffet has a modern functional style that showcases the gourmet meals prepared in the new kitchen. On the terrace, the name of the new restaurant facing the bay of Grand Baie speaks for itself: the Belle Vue, where one can enjoy our delicate seafood with your toes in the sand ...

Still with their toes in the sand, sun lovers can relax on the newly created beach around the pool or on the new deck overlooking the real beach, all also refurbished and enhanced. The Ti Lambic bar proudly shows off its new style where one can enjoy a refreshing cocktail, also overlooking the bay!
